1. Introduction
This manual is published in terms of section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (PAIA) by Exclusive Advisory Services, trading as RandCrypto (“RandCrypto”, “we”, “us”), a South African private body. It explains what kinds of records we hold and how to request access to them.
2. About RandCrypto
Exclusive Advisory Services t/a RandCrypto is a licensed Category I Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), FSP number 53473, operating randcrypto.co.za and the RandCrypto app.
3. Records we hold
Client onboarding and identity verification (KYC/FICA) records; account, trading, and transaction records; correspondence and complaints records; website inquiry submissions (OTC and corporate onboarding forms); and our own corporate, financial, and compliance records.
4. How to request a record
Send a written request to support@randcrypto.co.za describing the record you want, sufficient detail to locate it, and the form in which you want it (for example, a copy or an inspection). We will tell you which of the standard PAIA fees, if any, apply to your request.
5. Grounds on which a request may be refused
PAIA allows us to refuse some requests, in full or in part — for example, where a record contains another person’s personal information, our commercially sensitive information, or information protected by legal privilege. Where we refuse a request, we will tell you the ground relied on and your rights to challenge that decision.
6. Information Officer
Our Information Officer can be contacted at support@randcrypto.co.za for any PAIA request or query about this manual. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) about how a request was handled.
